04Principles

How we build.

Four rules every Amurot product ships with. They're how we decide what to build, and what to leave out.

  1. 01

    Calm by default

No feeds, no streaks, no dark patterns. Our apps do their job and get out of the way.

  2. 02

    Fast on real phones

Native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, profiled on the mid-range devices most people actually own.

  3. 03

    Private first

Local-first wherever possible. We collect what a feature needs and nothing more.

  4. 04

    Built to last

Small dependency trees, careful releases, and software we intend to maintain for years.

A note from Bhaskar Patel, founder of Amurot

“The tools I used every day felt louder than they needed to be. Amurot is my answer: fewer features, done properly, built to stay out of your way.”
